Welcome to The Knowle Care Home
The Knowle Care Home opened in 1986 as a private care home for 23 people who felt they were not safe or happy living on their own and who wanted a level of care, support and company in a homely environment. Most of our residents have come from the local area and continue to remain active with their families and friends in the local community.
Due to changing times and needs, most people who now use our service require higher levels of care and support than used to be the case. We have responded to these changes by increasing our staffing provision and making some environmental changes, without losing sight of our original aim of providing a ‘home from home’ and a large family atmosphere.
